Box for double plane irons made by Globe Mfg Co. Middletown, CT

Double makers stamp 1)J. KILLAM "A" Imprint 2) S. Hill Owner's mark
"H.G. PHILLIPS". This is the only example known to exist.

CJOHN DENISON "B1" Imprint. Possibly a failure of the imprint tool but more likely an over stamp of C.& S. Bulkley. Double struck planes with both company names and a shared decorative cartouche indicate a relationship between the two companies although the extent is not known.

JOHN DENISON "B1" Imprint

M.CARR Only this and three other planes are known to exist with this
imprint. The others are a medium round and a matched pair of tongue &
groove planes. Nothing is known of this maker either.

S.FELCH About a dozen tools exist with this name imprinted however,
there are 4 different configurations of the name. Two planes are known
with this pattern, this double bladed fixed sash and a reeding plane.
appearance is late 18th/early 19th century. No documentation has been
found regarding this maker.
